WILLIAMS LAKE
CROSS-COUNTRY SKI CLUB

PO Box 4026
Williams Lake, B.C. V2G 2V2

The Williams Lake Cross-Country Ski Club operates Bull Mountain Ski Area and provides cross-country skier development programs for children and adults. The club also sponsors annual cross-country skiing competitions at Bull Mountain Ski Area.

Bull Mountain Ski Area is located about 16 km north of Williams Lake in the central Cariboo area of British Columbia. It includes 28 km of well groomed trails and cross trails with a variety of challenge levels. It was the site of the 2002 BC Winter Games cross-country skiing competitions. Enjoy the great skiing here with an annual club membership or by day-use fee, which can be paid at the ski area.

Back-Country Skiing in the Central Cariboo

The Williams Lake Cross-country Ski Club does not offer or lead back-country ski trips. However, some club members are enthusiastic back-country skiers and can provide information on access, terrain, and some great snow conditions in the central Cariboo hills and mountains. Contact the club’s back-country ski director.

Valuable information on backcountry skiing safety, including avalanche hazard awareness, is available on the backcountry pages of the Cross Country B.C. web site.
