Family Fun Day at Bull Mountain

Family Fun Days are a great opportunity for the whole family or adult individuals to try your cross-country skiing skills, even if you have never skied before. The emphasis here is on having fun learning basic skiing techniques without having to buy skis. Skis, boots, and poles will be available to borrow at no charge and instructors will help you develop that technique that gets you easily down the track. Bring your own skis, boots and poles if you have them. Instruction is free.

Be sure to dress in layers so that you can be warm when you’re standing but not too hot when you’re skiing.

For further information contact Family Fun Day Coordinator.

Big Thank You to CARIBOU SKI SOURCE FOR SPORTS for supplying skis, boots, and poles.

Ski With Your Dog Day

Spend a great day skiing with your dog on the trails of Bull Mountain. With your dog on a leash, this event is free and open to everyone for the full day. There will be a silent auction and a barbecue lunch (by donation) from 11:00 – 3:00 with proceeds going to the local SPCA. Volunteer veterinary clinic staff will be present.

For further information, contact the Ski with your dog day coordinator.

Roadhouse Diner Ski Tour

Join us for a fun ski tour at Bull Mountain where stops along the trail feature food reminiscent of the old Cariboo roadhouses. Cariboo Road period costumes will add to the fun.

For further information regarding costs, date, etc., contact the coordinator of Roadhouse Diner Ski Tour.

Gold Rush Trail Loppet Series

The Bull Mountain Ski and Relay Challenge, a loppet-style ski competition at Bull Mountain Ski Area, has been cancelled for 2010.

For information on other cross-country ski events and competitions in the area, contact:

Results of loppets and other ski competitions in B.C. are available at Cross Country BC
